Angel Field Festival: The Music of Eduardo Miranda

Saturday, 8 February 2020 Time: 1pm

NB: This concert will take place at TATE Liverpool, Albert Dock, Liverpool

Students from the School of Creative and Performing Arts at Liverpool Hope University present a selection of works by Brazilian-born composer Eduardo Miranda alongside soundscape works by staff members Steve Davismoon and Kris Derby with 3rd year undergraduate Beth McNerlin.

Miranda’s distinctive music is informed by his unique background as a classically trained composer and Artificial Intelligence (AI) scientist with an early involvement in electroacoustic and avant-garde pop music. His acoustic music will be represented by Anathema for string quintet and clarinet, while Mozart Reloaded is from his electroacoustic output.
