We present an evening of sets from an eclectic and exciting collection of four North West based bands whose members are either current students or alumni of Liverpool Liverpool Hope University.

The Bodacious Balalaika Band bring their unique take in Russian folk music, promising an electrifying and engaging stage show.

Nikki & The Waves is a spicy glitter-fuelled indie pop band from Liverpool. With influences ranging from funk to indie rock and dream pop, they’re difficult to pin down but easy to listen to. Mixing brass with upbeat guitars and melancholic melodies they manage to create a modern sound that is nostalgic at the same time.

- Patchwork Rattlebag is an electronica outfit that is hard to compare to other acts. They label their style 'brainpop' and while they are keen to reference Nietzsche, they are far from serious, stoic arty types.... Ian Leslie, Salford Star Magazine called them "the greatest brainpop, psychedelic, arty, vocal harmony, acoustic, electro dance act you're likely to hear."

Sweet Beans is Liverpool Hope University's latest band. This freaky style collective of funked up beans play a collection of original tunes and as well as destructive covers using guitars, drums and horns.
