The tuition fee for full-time Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) commencing September 2017 is £9,250.
Dependent upon your degree classification and the subject to be studied, training bursaries & scholarships may be available and range from £30,000 to £3,000. Please see information on the Teaching Agency’s website and the PGCE Bursary Rates 2016-17 Information Sheet.
These bursaries are administered by the University so students do not have to apply for these. Payments are made on the 5th working day of each month from October to July.
Home and EU students may be eligible for a tuition fee loan to cover the cost of tuition fees charged. This is available through Student Finance England
No trainee will need to pay the cost of tuition charges up front. They will only pay once they are in full-time employment and earning above £21,000.
