You'll need to make an appointment for One-To-One Careers Advice and Guidance or Mock Interview Sessions. To make an appointment, you can call into the Employability Hub, on the Ground Floor of The Gateway Building or call us on 0151 291 3427.
Our Advice & Guidance appointments are available for students and graduates who require an in depth discussion to help them identify their skills and experience, explore their range of options, relate information to their own needs or make decisions about their career development. We will focus on your ideas and values, discuss your options and help you to develop your own individual career plan.
Appointments will take up to 45 minutes and will take place in one of our private meeting rooms. Anything that you will discuss with your Careers Advisor will, of course, be confidential.
If you are preparing for an interview we can help you by providing a Mock Interview Session. During the session, a Careers Advisor will simulate an interview scenario, based on the types of questions that you might face during 'the real thing'. Following the interview, you will then have a chance to receive feedback and discuss your performance.
If you are unable to visit us on campus, E-Guidance allows you to receive information, advice and guidance from one of our Careers Advisors. E-Guidance is particularly useful if you need advice on CVs, applications or personal statements.
It couldn't be easier to submit an e-guidance query. Simply click on Submit A Query to open the on-line form, complete all the fields and we'll get back to you within three working days.
If you need some quick careers related information or advice, then why not use our drop-in service instead of booking an appointment? We'll be available in the Employability Hub every Monday (10.00 - 13.00), Tuesday (10.30 - 13:00) Thursday (10:30 - 12:30).
Liverpool Hope University's Careers & Employability Service is accredited to the Matrix Quality Standard for information, advice and guidance services.
