The Department of Drama, Dance & Performance Studies are dancing their way to the stars, achieving one of the highest results in the National Student Survey 2016 in the University.
The National Student Survey (www.thestudentsurvey.com) asks final year students at every publicly funded Higher Education Institution (HEI) in the UK to rate their experience by stating to what extent they agree with a set of 23 questions across eight categories.
In this year's results:
Prof. Simon Piasecki comments 'We are very proud of our results as a department. We are always striving to increase, improve and strengthen the level of satisfaction, year by year. This year, we have truly shown our great efforts. However, we will not become complacent, and we will continue to strive and obtain even better results for the NSS. Staff Student Liasion Committee plays a pivotal part in identifying what the students need and require from us - without this we are unable to improve. I would urge students to continue to exercise this right of letting us know what you need in order to benefit from your time at university and the resources required to produce, what we effectively aim for, a learned graduate. Congratulations to the team and departmental administrator who have kept students at the heart of all that they do'.
